Instagram templates are the most common media template I create. This includes Instagram stories, highlight covers, and posts. Although templates mostly follow the same basic structure, they are as unique as the brand they represent.
Research. Find Instagram profiles of other organizations or freelancers in your field and see what they're doing right, or what could be improved upon. Remember, the goal is not to look like them, but to be inspired and create your own take on popular trends.
Create categories. This is the best way to stay organized and keep your audience engaged as you rotate through your topics. Successful instagram accounts typically have three broad topics broken down into smaller categories. To get inspired, here is an article about Instagram marketing best practices and a college class on How To Become A Social Media Influencer by Jen Goldbeck (An expert in social networks, social media, privacy, and security on the web)
Design. We work together to incorporate a designed template that uses your category rotations. Some categories may have multiple designs if they are posted often, which keeps your audience engaged without being fatigued by seeing the same design repeatedly. I can create your instagram template in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Canva (preferably under a Canva log-in you use that is not linked to facebook). We will find the best medium to save your template together.
